Wallet Policy

SHOPNAIJACLUB operates two separate wallets on every account.

1. Personal Wallet

Holds referral commissions and any admin credits made to it. Funds in the Personal Wallet can be withdrawn to your registered bank account or transferred to your Shopping Wallet.

2. Shopping Wallet

Used only to pay for marketplace orders. It can be funded by transferring from the Personal Wallet or by an admin credit (for example supplier-failure compensation or an approved refund). The Shopping Wallet cannot be withdrawn and cannot be transferred back to the Personal Wallet.

3. Transfers

Transfers move funds in one direction only: Personal → Shopping. Transfers are instant and are recorded in your transaction history. During checkout, if your Shopping Wallet is short, you may authorise an automatic top-up from your Personal Wallet for the exact shortfall.

4. Withdrawals

Withdrawals are made from the Personal Wallet to the bank account saved on your profile. The minimum withdrawal is ₦25,000. Requests are reviewed by the Admin and, once approved, paid to your bank, normally within 1 – 3 business days. Bank details must match the account holder's name on the SHOPNAIJACLUB account.

5. Manual adjustments

Admins may credit or debit a wallet where necessary — for example, to issue compensation, correct a processing error, or reverse a fraudulent credit. Every manual adjustment records the admin, the amount, the reason, an internal reference and the balance before and after, and you are notified. A manual debit can never take a balance below zero.

6. Restrictions

  • Wallet balances are not deposits, do not earn interest, and are not transferable between members.
  • Balances have no cash value outside the platform except through the approved withdrawal process.
  • Wallets may be frozen during a fraud or dispute investigation.

7. Transaction history

Every credit and debit appears in your transaction history with a reference, description, amount, and balance before and after. Please review your history regularly and report anything you do not recognise within 7 days.

8. Fraud monitoring

We monitor wallet activity for unusual patterns, including rapid withdrawal attempts after suspicious commission activity and repeated bank detail changes. We may pause a withdrawal and request identity verification before releasing funds.
